Chicken + Whiskey’s unique walk-up window serves up more than just fast food. In fact, it doesn’t serve food at all, but rather craft cocktails. If you want your booze to go, step up to the window and place your order for a Kool-Aid Caliente. The signature cocktail consists of house-made passion berry juice with Cazadores Tequila, spicy Chaco, lime, blue curacao, and grapefruit.
It’s just one of the fresh and canned cocktails that you can grab from the bar window, along with full bottles of top-shelf spirits. However, if you want the full Chicken + Whiskey experience, you should really sit down for a meal! Inside the restaurant, you have access to more than 100 types of top-shelf whiskies alongside a larger roster of house-made cocktails. They all pair perfectly with the main cuisine which is, you guessed it, chicken. More specifically, Chicken + Whiskey specializes in Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken. The kitchen staff brines the birds for 12 hours and then cooks them slowly over a mix of smoky wood and charcoal. Order a portion of the bird straight or try the chicken fingers with sides like sweet plantains and yuca fries.
