Grab a Last-Minute Mother’s Day Gift at Lemonfest on May 7th
If your mom appreciates an experience over a physical gift, celebrate Mother’s Day by her side at Lemonfest! On Saturday, May 7th, folks will be gathering at Bowie Town Center to commemorate the arrival of spring and get a jump start on Mother’s Day revelry as they do every year at the fun outdoor event.
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the free festival will welcome local vendors and entertainers to show off what they can do—whether they craft one-of-a-kind home decorations or perform magic tricks. Watch live bands take the stage as you sip on a cocktail or a mocktail, or look on as artists work and then sell their masterpieces on the spot. Laugh out loud at local comedy acts or ooh and ahh as magicians perform sleight of hand tricks. Food trucks will dole out the fresh food and refreshing drinks, which should fuel the whole family between pit stops at various vendor booths. If you have little ones in tow, the face-painting and bubbles station will keep them entertained. No need to bring mom along if you’re looking for a gift to give her on Sunday! The regional artisans will have plenty of options.
