Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services Turkey Trot: Give Back Before You Give Thanks
Missed in-person races? You’re not alone! This year the 17th Annual Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services (LARS) Turkey Trot in Laurel is back in action, and the community as a whole is getting pretty excited to hit the streets for a good cause. This beloved local race offers 1-mile and 5K routes that run through (no pun intended) Historic Laurel. Entry fees are only $40, which is pretty great considering it goes towards a good cause. That’s the best part! Proceeds go towards supporting LARS, a local non-profit that provides resources to homeless and low-income families to help them get back on their feet and achieve a stable income and self-sufficiency.
