Shop Local, Seasonal Produce at the Maple Lawn Farmer’s Market
While we keep our fingers crossed for our favorite stores and restaurants to reopen after the pandemic, there is one way you can support local farmers while still filling your refrigerator. The Maple Lawn Farmer’s Market is offering the organization’s first-ever online market. The opening day of the physical Farmer’s Market has been pushed to June 13, so for now, let’s go virtual!
Each vendor is going to put the most popular and plentiful items for sale on the Maple Lawn website. You just pick and choose what you love, and then items will be packaged up and ready for pick up at the market location on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It certainly will be nice to (hopefully) walk the aisles of the outdoor market and check in with the local farmers and purveyors that are a part of the community, the online market is the next best thing to keep operations running.
