Returning for Its 15th Year in 2020: Jazz at the Lake!
A surefire way to beat the post-holiday blues? Live music! That’s precisely what makes Columbia’s Jazz at the Lake such a beloved annual event. Returning to the Jim Rouse Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 18, this 15th-annual concert will feature the talents of jazz trumpeter Sean Jones.
The acclaimed trumpeter— who has played alongside the likes of Jimmy Heath, Nancy Wilson, Dianne Reeves, Gerald Wilson, and other notable figures in jazz—will be one of four musicians taking the stage for the concert; he’ll be accompanied by a pianist, bassist, and drummer. The performance starts at 7 p.m., and you won’t want to be late: the award-winning Wilde Lake High School Jazz Ensemble will open the show!
